August 2025: Revd. Sally Lynch Retirement leaving message

As many know, in July 2025 we sent our best wishes and blessings to Revd. Sally as she begins to embark on her Retirement. Sally has kindly agreed to share some lasting words with us.

We shall miss her terribly, but wish her joy and ease in the next chapter of her life.

“It has been a real delight to serve as a trustee of WAMCF for a number of years, and to lead the women’s group.

At the heart of all we do is a joy in sharing our faiths (and none) and enjoying each other’s company.

As people of faith we recognise a way of being that impacts positively on the world and we want to make a difference, to make it a good place to live in – starting where we are at, in on our own borough. The regular dialogues have helped to draw together a wide variety of people and inspired us to think differently  as we listen to each other.

I have very much enjoyed being part of a group of women who have shared own stories – of life and faith, who have eaten together and who have learned together.

Thank you, WAMCF, for all that you have given  to me and nurtured me.”
